Ready for her crown: Sophie Turner is Queen of the red carpet at Game Of Thrones panel

She plays the selfish and oft-hated Princess of Winterfell in HBO fantasy drama Game Of Thrones.

And
it appears actress Sophie Turner is ready to take her crown in real
life as she posed up at a panel event for the hit series on Tuesday
night.

The 17-year-old
English star took advantage of a photo op before she made her way into
the event, smiling slyly at the camera in an ensemble of head-to-toe

recognised her on the street and felt compelled to give harsh criticism
of her character.

'At first it kind of came as a shock because people didn’t like Sansa; she isn’t a fan favourite,' Sophie said.

'A lot of fans that recognise me go,
"I kind of hate you," and I'm all, "Cool, well, you've just made this
sufficiently awkward." I thought I was being personally attacked, but I
knew I wasn't. It was all new to me.'

Sophie told the website she's looking forward to fans seeing the forthcoming third season.

She says her character will be 'less naive'.

'Season two changed her. All the things
she heard in songs and fairy tales - they're all gone now. She's lost
her innocence, but for the better. You don’t want to be innocent in the
world of Game of Thrones,' she explained.

Season three of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere on March 31.
